RO-RO Terminal

The terminal has an open area of 175,000 square metres, with operative 5 berths equipped with 3 ramps capable of hosting three ro-ro vessels. Mostly dedicated to cargo moving between Europe and Turkey, presently set over  150,00 trucks

Ro-ro connections between Trieste and Turkey started in 1987 and presently connect the city to Pendik (on the Asian side of Istanbul), Martas(located in the Marmara Ereğlisi area in Türkiye), Mersin (South-Eastern Turkey) stopover in Patras (western Greece) and Damietta (Egypt).

Reefer Plugs

The terminal offers 72 reefer plugs, 48 for reefer containers and 24 for reefer trailers, mainly supporting perishable goods on the Damietta–Trieste corridor.

This ensures dedicated service for customers while helping achieve the decarbonisation goal
